Fourth of July Parade, Concert and Fireworks

Hyannis Main Street

4 pm- Hyannis: Main Street Parade – The Parade will begin promptly at 4pm at the corner of Ocean Street and travel along Main Street for a half mile, ending at the corner of Sea Street. From the east end to west end of Main Street and down to the waterfront, residents and visitors alike will enjoy the annual parade, concerts, and fireworks, and new additions with street performers, musicians, family lawn games, jugglers, face painting, free trolley rides around the Village Green, and more.

5-6 pm Town Band entertains on the Village Green, Hyannis – Family lawn games, free rides by the Roaming Railroad, Nicholas Suchecki Jazz Quartet, The Suspenders – Juggling Duo, Soloist Musician, Michael Fenuccio, Soloist Musician Jordan Renzi.

7 pm Pre-Fireworks Concert featuring JO&CO at Aselton Park – a fun, family friendly dance band playing top hits spanning decades!

9 pm Fireworks from a barge in Lewis Bay* *Rain date for fireworks only, Saturday, September 1, 2018.


Town of Barnstable’s 4th of July Activities


Attached is the calendar of 4th of July events in the Town of Barnstable.  The Town’s fireworks are being shot off a barge in Lewis Bay.  This year’s fireworks are sponsored by the Town of Barnstable.**

Important parking information is included in this advisory.


FIREWORKS DISPLAY:  WEDNESDAY, July 4, 2018 (Rain date is Saturday, September 1, 2018.)

Viewing:  The main viewing locations for this year’s fireworks will be Aselton Park, Bismore Park, and Veteran’s Park Beach.  Kalmus Beach will be available for handicapped parking only.


Fireworks Parking (Barnstable):  A Parking Ban will be in effect South of South Street (Ocean Street, Old Colony Boulevard, Gosnold Street and all streets running off of Gosnold Street) from 5:00 PM to midnight to allow for pedestrian access.  Parking will be available in the North Street parking lots and Town Hall parking lot.  Tow Zones Strictly Enforced.  Carpooling suggested.

to the fireworks during the display.


Hyannis Main Street Parade – WEDNESDAY, JULY 4, 2018 Parade starting at 4:00 PM

Parade Parking: Parking Ban from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Main Street, Old Colony Road, and South Street, Hyannis will be closed to motor vehicle traffic for the parade. Also all of Main Street; Old Colony Road and Ocean Street from South Street to Main Street will be closed to motor vehicle traffic beginning at 2:00 PM.
