The Federated Church on Main Street in Hyannis is known as "the friendly church." Prominently display over the front door is the image of the pineapple, an early New England symbol of hospitality and warm welcome. Sunday worship is at 10:00. The Federated Church building also houses the Brazilian Presbyterian Church, A Baby Center, the Cape Cod Council of Churches, Overnights of Hospitality (a ministry to the homeless), The Friendly Thrift Shop and Bridge to Hope (a program for women leaving prison.)
